locked out

for the second time in two years and 3 houses, i was locked out of my room.. waah!

the first time, i was living in simei. i went out of my room to check my laundry. when i came back, the room was locked and i have no spare key.. it took me an hour and 70sgd to have it opened..

last night, i went out of my room to do my laundry. when i came back, lo and behold... the room was locked. fortunately, i got a spare key. unfortunately, its not with me hehe but at least i have one. it took me a few minutes and lakas ng loob to disturb my friend to get my spare key.

now, i learned my lesson... never do my laundry!! disposable clothes na lang hehe

yehey! finally! at last! we have christmas decors... pasko na talaga! i can feel the christmas spirit at home and along orchard hehe (dun lang kase maraming christmas decors)... unlike in the philippines na everywhere you look, you will feel that christmas is really just days away.. may countdown pa nga everyday sa tv and in radio.. dito, wala! hayy..

last weekend, my housemates and i went scouting for the cheapest christmas decors we can find. we ended in paya lebar where we found different sizes and colors of christmas trees ranging from 6 for a very little tree to a 180sgd for a revolving (tama ba yun? basta ung umiikot hehe) white christmas tree.

we went home satisfied with our treasures: a 4 ft christmas tree, red and golden balls, stars, 6 poinsettias and belen. my housemate's mom came from the philippines and she brought us: christmas lights, socks and glittery christmas banner. we're ready for the holidays... except for the christmas presents!!!

last friday night, my employer sponsored a dinner and dance for all its contracts at the orchard hotel. the dinner and dance turned out to be a drink and dance party.. oops. i only had three glasses of coke ha.

however, after the party we went to MOS (ministry of sound) and i had a few drinks of vodka orange and some dancing. we stayed on the retro room for quite a while and groove to the music. it was past 2am when we decided to get out of that smoky place hehe

we headed to the coffee club and had a mug of mochaccino and had some usapang lasing haha we interviewed the guys who were with us however we could not get anything from them, corny kaya we decided to get home na lang...

my weekend getaway

finally, i went on a holiday after more than 6 months. i planned this getaway with my friends last august. i asked my manager for my 2 days off a few weeks ago. but few hours before our scheduled flight, i was still stucked in the office. i felt guilty that i am going away on vacation while my officemates will take care of my work. but in the end, i didn't have any choice. and i went away! haha

went to thailand for 3 days. we stayed in krabi. got a tattoo. played on the beach (cant swim eh). took pictures. ate a lot. had a massage by the beach. had a massage in our room. had a splash on the hotel's pool. relaxed on a hot spring. ate a lot. went on a roller coaster elephant ride. and shopped!

now that im back in the office, the work i left is still the same work that im doing. my offciemates were not able to finish my work not because they need me but because we need something from other people. things we cant control i guess. actually, im still waiting for those works to be available to me.

i had an acoustic night with rick price.. rather with my friends.

it was an intimate night since the venue was not that big. we were seated on the second row. he sang songs for the new album that he was promoting. i listened carefully digesting the lyrics by heart in between sipping my vodka.

now, im having a hard time erasing his last song in my head. na-LSS na ko! perhaps, i can relate with the lyrics.. esp these lines...

one candle

yesterday was the feast of all saints. philippines was on holiday. but im not in the philippines so i was stucked in the office.

fortunately, i had a chance to hear last night's mass with my friends. after that, we headed home (my home!) so we can light candles and pray the rosary for our dearly departed loved ones.

this was one of the candles we had lighted last night.. naka-zoom lang kaya parang malaki hehe
